Ukraine: Open Letter To The International Community In Support Of The ICC Investigation.

Global Diligence partner - Alex Prezanti - has penned an open letter on behalf of 55 civil society organisations from Ukraine, Russia, Belarus and their international partners. The letter welcomes the launch of the International Criminal Court investigation in Ukraine triggered by an unprecedented collective referral by 39 State parties, and calls on the international community to provide a substantial injection of funding for the ICC and organisations supporting this process.

Global Diligence and its partners are helping to coordinate the huge effort to document ongoing war crimes in Ukraine. GD have been been documenting evidence of international crimes in Ukraine since 2014, and have submitted multiple case files to the International Criminal Court and national prosecutors under the principle of Universal Jurisdiction.
